Perfectly suited as informal seating
for public playgrounds. It has a simple construction with traditional
pegged mortice and tenon end frames. To these are screwed the
seating boards, allowing for easy maintenance.
Single, double and 3 seater options,
with or without back rests are all available. Benches can be
free-standing, ground fixed or surface mounted.
The legs run through for vertical
interest and to encourage play while discouraging the use of
the benches for skateboarders and BMXers.
These benches were a special order
for the Abbey Gardens in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.
Straight, curved and stepped benches
are all options.
